TIMING:
Finishlynx (color and black & white)  computerized

SPECTATOR DISPLAYS / SCOREBOARDS:

scrolling Place, Lane, Time, and Time only -ALL can be hooked  up at once -directly into timing system.
Many different configurations available allows for maximum
viewing of spectators.

8 Alpha-numeric displays (Microgate) (sample 1, sample 2) available for both running AND field events

Finshlynx’s AirCyber service available.  This is a wireless
Palm Pilot network that allows instantaneous dispursemet of results via wireless network and handheld Palm Pilots.

Scoreboard  and video board integration

Television, CCTV, and Jumbo Tron type  integration

Instant results via t.v. / video  runs for media and spectator results.  Same type of hook up for televised meets/television truck

PHOTO FINISH EXPLAINED:

Unlike a conventional cam corder, photo finish basically takes a picture the size of a match sticks’ width.  As the contestants cross the finishline, their picture is taken (average 800 frames per second but can go up to 10,000) in small pieces and “put together” by the software --which in turn is used to evaluate and assign times to the contestants.  So, the narrow image on the right is what the camera sees at the lead edge of the finishline and the image on the left is what appears on the computer screen.
